For the past month or so, my grade 10 English class has been reading the novel called "Life of Pi" written by Yan Martel. This book depicted the horrors of living out in the ocean for many days without food while having to share a life boat with a 450 lbs. Bengal tiger. The book was very descriptive and contained many hidden messages and was filled with symbols. For this post, Mr. Wilkinson told us to create a comic strip about a scene in the book. I chose to do the scene in the book where a atheist, communist biology teacher and a pious, Sufi baker with the same name (Satish Kumar) meetup and share a great experience together. It shows that things with very different view points can still come together and enjoy something magnificent.
